ValheimHost is a small little tool that is created in C# that helps you to create a dedicated server for the popular Open World game Valheim. This tool uses SeriLog for logging in both console and a log file with log rotation enabled.
I’ve noticed that some of the SteamCMD output isn’t redirected during the initial setup. Please just be patient while SteamCMD is doing its thing.
Features:
- Automatic download and installation of SteamCMD
- Automatic download and installation of Valheim Dedicated Server
- Automatic server backup (and rotation)
- Automatic server restart
- Automatic server update
Installation:
- Download ValheimHost from the link below
- Unzip somewhere on your PC
- Edit settings.ini and modify the paths to SteamCMD, Valheim Server, and your Worlds
- Start the server (it will take a couple of minutes before SteamCMD and Valheim are downloaded so be patient).
